CARBONDALE COMMUNITY SCHOOL A community space opens to four unique learning areas, each with it's own geometric identity. Garage doors open off this space to expand classrooms, while the four unique roof shapes, colors and materials distinguish age groups. HTA incorporates materials in straightforward yet elegant ways, and emphasizes natural lighting and exposed structural elements. The ranching heritage of the site is expressed through the use of galvanized steel, log columns and native spruce siding.
