GLACIER RESIDENCE
This residence for a family of four is located at the boulder-strewn mouth of a glacially shapen "Hanging Valley" in the Colorado Rockies. The form of the house is derived from the geologic history and the residual boulders on the site. Massing elements maneuver around existing trees while leaping over and including the large glacial boulders.

Inside, the open plan living spaces flow down through and around the more contained static elements of the entry, office, and kitchen, and then jump across the bridge to the family wing.
